Give Us
A pure heart that we may hear Thee,
A humble heart that we may hear Thee,
A heart of love that we may serve Thee,
A heart of faith that we may live Thee.

-Dag Hammerskjold

There are many ways (see below) to get involved in the life of the Meeting.

Affordable Housing

Two of our members wrote a narrative that appeared in the November 2019 issue of Friends Journal. The story reminds us of the many good things that local Friends have done to address affordable housing needs.

Forteniter's

Norristown Meeting provides a dinner for the Forteniter's Club in September each year. The Forteniter's Club was established in 1974 and serves mental health consumers who at one time or another have been hospitalized.

Zoom Book Club at Byberry Meeting

If you like to read books and join in lively discussions, Byberry Friends Meeting (Phila, PA) hosts a monthly book club that you are invited to join. The group discusses novels and historical fiction that include a Quaker component, for example abolition or women's suffrage.

If you would like to get involved in any of these areas or have another question about getting more involved in the life of the Meeting, please let us know.
